Anna-Lisa F. Vanzo is a seasoned commercial litigator, who represents clients in a wide range of industries including banking and financial services, entertainment, pharmaceutical, health care, automotive, and construction.  She has achieved positive outcomes for clients in employment, securities, contract, bankruptcy, and class action disputes, through litigation, arbitration, and mediation proceedings. She is also a legal compliance professional with extensive experience leading internal investigations and representing clients in audits and governmental & regulatory inquiries. She served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Debra Freeman (Ret.), Chief Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. 

Anna-Lisa maintains a strong commitment to pro bono work. She was the lead counsel in securing a favorable outcome for an indigent client in an eviction avoidance hearing, and also secured a commutation for a non-violent offender client from the Obama administration. Anna-Lisa is a volunteer mediator for Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and served as a junior board member for the Avenues for Justice, Andrew Glover Youth Program. She was also a New York City Bar Association associate leadership institute fellow, and received the National Black Lawyers Association’s Top 40 Under 40 Award.
