Michael Mauro is a Partner at Milman Labuda Law Group PLLC. Michael has diverse expertise in the areas of corporate law, labor and employment, commercial transactions, and commercial and business dispute litigation. Michael represents business owners and employers in a wide range of industries including, cryptocurrency, transportation and logistics, real estate development, construction, financial services, healthcare, airlines, hospitality, and retail.

He has extensive experience appearing before the federal and state courts of appeals, federal and state lower courts, the National Labor Relations Board and various other federal and state administrative agencies.

Michael’s career began offering distinctive expertise to corporate clients of his labor-management relations practice including civil rights statutes, executive compensation, labor laws, wages laws, restrictive covenants, and mergers and acquisitions. His practice also includes vast experience representing corporations in their union matters including collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, and daily labor counseling.

Mr. Mauro’s experience includes winning two landmark jury cases: successfully defending a client in a Dodd-Frank retaliatory discharge case; and successfully recovering significant monetary damages for his client that was subjected to an unlawful boycott by a labor union and successfully defended the liability victory before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Michael expanded his practice after serving as General Counsel to a family office. Michael leveraged that experience and returned to Milman Labuda Law Group PLLC to expand the firm’s corporate and commercial litigation and advisory practices.

Michael has spoken at various events regarding latest trends and best practices in labor and employment law and is a frequent speak at The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law – his alma mater.
